PATH TIMES: PATH ACADEMY PIRATES FOCUSED ON GROWTH IN WEEK 4

As the second half of the XEFL season begins opportunity still knocks for hungry teams focused on winning a championship. The Pirates are off to a solid start and have clearly taken a step in the right direction. Improvement has been made at every level from players to staff. The focus since last fall was put on building the proper culture and the recruiting revolved heavily upon character and leadership. That approach has clearly paid off as the team continues to make noise. The Pirates are currently 2-1 (1-1 in XEFL) looking for their 3rd win in a row this season. This Sunday the Pirates face the Eastern Shore Kings. A tough team that has had success currently ranked 3rd in the XEFL.
Coach Malave had this to say:
” I’m proud of what we have built here. Everyone takes pride in their roles and what that means to our family. We have traveled well, prepared well and with the focus this organization continues to have will push us forward in the right direction. We are focused on the Kings this week. They are a tough team and they are playing at home so we have to bring our A game to be successful. We are going to prepare and work our game plan and take another step. We have some outstanding men and women here creating the program we have all dreamed of. You’ll be able to see the fruits of these labors soon.”
